Alcoholism is something that many people suffers from. It is a force that can grab on to you without you even realizing. Like a swamp pit, it is an addiction that’s very hard to escape, often destroying someone’s daily life, family, and even friendships. Though I personally only drink on very special occasions, there are people who are addicted and yet think they’re in control. Ask yourself, are you really in control, or have you been consumed by the demon? To those who are in the process of battling this demon, don’t give up! Share your battle in the comment if you want or send me a message, you’re not alone!!
Hi folks, as always, life tends to consume our time more than we can ever expect! That's not necessary a bad thing to keep yourself busy, it's better than a predicable life!
Lately, my passion for environmental portraiture was reignited, and I have been running around looking for locations and shooting a tons of lifestyle portraits! I am super excited about these images and hopefully through this blog, it will inspire you to try out off camera flash. If you're still wondering what off camera flash is or how to use it, do not worry, check out my other blog on that here.
Meet Rex, a friend of mine since high school! He's currently a student at University of Arts in Philadelphia, studying in film. Skateboarding is a huge part of his life, and that's what this portrait session was about!
Both photographs were relatively simple and quick to setup. I first take a photo of the background without the flash, fine tuned the exposure until I am happy with it, in this case, you can see I have taken the background a whole lot to give a moody and dramatic feel. Once I have my first light source dialed in using my camera (ambient/natural light), I then moved on to set my flash up and adjust my power to only light up Rex. See diagram below.
I'm a photographer that is constantly looking for something new! I love learning, pushing boundaries, collaborating with awesome people and best of all, telling stories with my images! Tell me your story!
